HERNDON, Va., Aug 28, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- RCN Corporation (NASDAQ: RCNI), a leading provider of triple play cable, high-speed internet and phone services, and MobilePro (OTC Bulletin Board: MOBL) today announced that they have entered into an agreement to sell wireless services for the first time to RCN customers. Wireless services will initially be offered to RCN customers in the Boston area.

"RCN is an industry leader in bundling fiber-based video, data, and voice and believes that MobilePro's network combined with its wholesale carrier relationships is consistent with the high quality standard that we want to deliver to our customers."
MobilePro will perform all supporting activities, including sales, provisioning, billing, and customer care. The initial trial will begin in September, and the service will be marketed under the brand name RCN Wireless. Monthly plans will be available ranging from low to high use, including popular family plans. Promotions for this service will be included as part of RCN's strategic bundled service offerings.
